Do a search in the forum section for the exact title you typed, "best Auds" and you'll come up with a good amount of old posts. We've covered this one a bunch.

Purple Gel had a great list, I'd add 7/10/81 which sounds stupendous (recorded behind the stage), 6/23/74, and 6/22/73.

I don't understand why no one mentions it but I'm going to keep mentioning it until someone listens damn it! 7-29-88 Laguna Seca!!!!!!!!!!!! HAS to be matrix - the sound is killer and just a wee little background crowd noise. That is the ONLY thing that lets you know it isn't a SBD but it sounds a lot better than a lot of boards out there. Phils bass is phenominal. I guarantee you could put it on in one of those stupid rap bumpin hooptie sub woofer cars and give them youngins a run for their money.

Just streaming 7-29-88 now and it's going right to the top of my next to download list. Did they ever before or since split Chinacat/Rider like that? Thank you, UncleJohnny!

Not that I know of. I often wonder if they just completely spaced going into Rider. Wait for that playin man! Oh WOW! One of the best post 70's melt downs ever. No wonder it ended up on So Many Roads.
